OUTSOURCED MARKETING

Outsourced Marketing

We take over your entire digital marketing — from strategy to day-to-day campaign execution. Instead of hiring a marketer, designer, paid ads specialist, SEO lead, and coordinator separately, you get a ready-made marketing department with all competencies working as a single system. Built for businesses that haven’t yet established digital presence, or have chaotic marketing without a clear structure. One contact, one analytics layer, one team.

OUTSOURCED MARKETING

What is outsourced marketing and who needs it?

Outsourced marketing is a model where all marketing functions are performed by an external team rather than your in-house staff. You pay an agency for the full cycle — from strategy to execution — instead of maintaining your own department with a CMO, marketers, paid ads specialists, designers, and SMM managers.

This model works in three main scenarios:

A business that hasn’t yet entered digital.

The product or service is already running offline, through referrals, or through one or two tools (Instagram, classifieds, contacts). The owner understands that without systematic digital promotion there’s no growth, but doesn’t know where to start. Outsourcing provides a ready-made roadmap and a team to execute it.

A business with chaotic marketing.

Advertising is already running, but every tool lives separately: a freelance media buyer runs Meta, another contractor handles Google Ads, SMM is the third, the website is the fourth. Nobody sees the whole picture, results contradict each other, and budgets are allocated blindly. Outsourcing unifies all directions under a single strategy.

A business that doesn’t want to build an in-house department.

For a company of 10–200 employees, a full marketing department means 5–8 people with $15–30K monthly payroll plus benefits, training, and coverage during vacations. Outsourcing often delivers the same result at a substantially lower cost, without the HR overhead.

What’s included in your specific package is determined after the brief and strategy session — covered below.

What does the engagement onboarding process look like?

Stage 1. Strategy session.

Before kickoff, we run a 2–3 hour meeting with the owner or executive lead. We discuss the business, history, goals, target audience, current channels, competitors, budgets, internal resources, and expectations from the partnership. This isn’t a sales meeting — it’s an audit of your business that gives us the picture we need to build the strategy.

Stage 2. Strategy and roadmap.

Within 7–14 days after the strategy session, we prepare a document: target audience and funnel description, competitor analysis, positioning strategy, recommended channel mix, 3–6 month roadmap, KPI forecast, budget. We present it in a separate meeting, discuss, and refine. You receive this document even if you decide not to continue working with us.

Stage 3. Launch and team formation.

Once the strategy is approved, we assign a dedicated account manager — your single point of contact. They coordinate execution across all directions (paid ads specialists, SEO, SMM, development, analytics) operating against the strategy. You don’t communicate with 5 different people — only with the account manager.

Stage 4. Infrastructure and quick wins.

Month one runs in parallel. We set up the technical layer (analytics, Pixels, CRM integration) while simultaneously launching “quick wins” — fast activities that can start without complete infrastructure (Google Search, retargeting, base content). The goal is for first inquiries to start arriving in month one, not after the system is fully built.

Stage 5. Regular operational work.

From month two — full launch of all directions per strategy. Weekly chat communication through your preferred channel (Slack, Telegram). Monthly meeting with metrics review and plan adjustments. Quarterly strategic review — revisiting directions, budgets, new hypotheses.

Who works on our side and how are roles distributed?

The team assigned to your project isn’t one person — it’s a group of specialists. The composition varies based on needs, but the baseline structure is:

  • Account manager — your primary contact. Coordinates all executors, leads communication, holds deadlines, owns the result before you.
  • Strategist — shapes and updates the strategy, analyzes competitors, proposes new directions. Engaged at key moments — strategy sessions, quarterly reviews.
  • Performance marketers — separate specialists for Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn. Each owns their channel.
  • SEO specialist — technical SEO, content, link building, GEO optimization.
  • SMM team — content strategy, copywriting, AI visual production, community management (through a partner).
  • Web developers — for websites and landing pages (through partners for custom development).
  • Analyst — GA4, GTM setup, Looker / Power BI dashboards, attribution.
  • AI engineer — for automations, AI assistants, AI agents.

The advantage for the client — you pay for the competencies you need under a partnership model, not for individual rates of every specialist. We secure the resource; you get the result.

How do you report to the client?

Transparency is critical in the outsourcing model because the client doesn’t see the team’s day-to-day work. That’s why we provide multiple levels of communication:

Level 1. 24/7 dashboard.

Looker / Power BI with all metrics: advertising (per channel), organic traffic, SEO positions, SMM activity, business indicators (leads, sales, ROI). Always open — you can check in at any moment.

Level 2. Weekly communication.

A text update from the account manager via Slack, Telegram, or email: what was done during the week, what changes were made, what questions need your decision. Takes 5 minutes to read but keeps you informed.

Level 3. Monthly meeting.

60–90 minute online meeting. We review the month’s results, discuss new hypotheses, and adjust the plan. The presentation report stays with you.

Level 4. Quarterly strategic review.

Every 3 months — a deeper review with strategy reassessment. The quarter may have brought new audience data, new channels, or new competitors. We update the roadmap accordingly.

How long until first results?

In the outsourcing model, results arrive at two speeds:

Quick results (1–2 months):

  • First leads from performance advertising (Google Search, Meta).
  • Analytics configured and business metrics visible.
  • First experiments with AI landing pages launched.
  • Structured SMM content live across social media.

Mid-term results (3–6 months):

  • SEO positions begin to grow, organic traffic appears.
  • Quality analytics with multiple months of data — you can make data-backed decisions.
  • Stable CPA in performance channels after optimization.
  • First AI automations (site assistant, lead processing) reach productive operation.

Long-term results (6–12 months):

  • SEO generates a steady organic stream — many times cheaper than advertising.
  • A built-up social media audience — repeat sales and word-of-mouth.
  • The data system — dashboards, CRM, attribution — operates as a tool for business decisions.
  • Brand awareness in target segments.

The outsourcing model doesn’t pay back in month one — it pays back at 3–6 months when all directions begin to operate in sync. We don’t form packages shorter than 3 months for this service — that’s not enough time to build the system.

How much does outsourced marketing cost?

Pricing is determined individually after the strategy session — it depends on the service set in your package, scope of work, content production needs, integration depth, and number of channels.

The service fee is separate from the advertising budget. Advertising spend goes directly to Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn — we don’t take a cut from it.

Payment models we can offer:

  • Fixed monthly retainer — the most common model.
  • Hybrid — base retainer plus a percentage of ad spend.
  • Performance-based — part of the fee tied to KPI achievement.

At the brief stage, we honestly discuss whether the outsourcing model fits your budget. For smaller budgets, focusing on 1–2 channels rather than full outsourcing is often more effective — we’ll say so directly.

How do you differ from an in-house marketing department?

This is a fair comparison — they’re two alternatives to the same task. Here are the strengths and trade-offs of each model:

Advantages of outsourcing:

  • No HR costs (hiring, onboarding, training, coverage, terminations).
  • Access to a wide pool of competencies. A 3-person in-house team won’t simultaneously be strong at LinkedIn Ads, SEO, AI automations, and Shopify e-commerce. Our team has narrow specialists for every direction.
  • Lower fixed costs. You can scale up and down without putting employees at risk.
  • Fast start. An in-house department takes 2–3 months just to assemble the team. Outsourcing launches in 2–3 weeks.
  • Cross-industry experience. We see what works across 60+ niches and transfer insights between projects.

Advantages of an in-house department:

  • Deeper immersion in the specifics of the product and the customer.
  • Full dedication to one business, 24/7.
  • Easier integration with other departments (sales, service).

In most cases, the optimal model is a hybrid: a key marketing coordinator on staff plus outsourcing for execution. We often work in exactly this configuration.

What do “quick wins” look like in the first month of partnership?

A complete digital system takes 3–6 months to build, but we plan first noticeable results from month one. Typical quick wins:

  • Launching Google Search on brand and high-intent queries — often works from day one because demand already exists.
  • Meta retargeting on past site visitors — the cheapest and most effective Meta start.
  • An AI landing page targeting a specific conversion goal, if the current site isn’t optimized.
  • Analytics setup — often it turns out the client’s current campaigns are performing better than reporting shows; tracking is simply misconfigured.
  • Updating the Google Business Profile for local businesses — can double the number of calls from Google Maps.
  • First expert posts on LinkedIn from the owner’s account — if the founder is willing to step into the spotlight.

The specific quick wins we choose depend on the business’s specifics and are defined during the strategy session.

Can we engage on a short-term basis?

Outsourcing isn’t a sprint — it’s a strategic partnership. Minimum effective term is 3 months (and that’s a floor, not a norm). The reasons:

  • The first 2–4 weeks go to the strategy session, roadmap development, and infrastructure setup. Real operational work begins from week 4.
  • Performance advertising needs 4–6 weeks for the algorithm’s learning phase.
  • SEO begins generating organic traffic from month 3.
  • Any strategy requires at least one cycle of validation, correction, and re-launch — that’s 8–10 weeks.

If you need a fast one-off solution (launching a single campaign, retuning one channel) — we recommend a focused individual service, not outsourcing. We’ll say so honestly at the brief and direct you to the right form of partnership.

FAQ

How much does outsourced marketing at FMAds cost?

Pricing is determined individually after the strategy session — it depends on the service set, scope of work, channels we run, and integration depth. The service fee is separate from the advertising budget. We work on a fixed retainer, hybrid model, or performance-based. Minimum engagement period is 3 months.

We’re a very small business — does this format fit us?

It depends on what you mean by "small business." If you're a sole proprietor with $50K annual revenue, outsourcing likely won't pay back — a focused individual service is better (for example, only Google Ads or only SMM). If you're a 10–30 person company with $300K+ revenue, outsourcing is often more economical than hiring an in-house marketer. At the brief, we'll honestly tell you which format is rational for your scale.

Can we run one of the services ourselves and hand the rest over to you?

Yes, this is a common model. For example, you run SMM with an in-house SMM manager, while handing performance advertising and SEO to us. In that case, we become not full outsourcing but outsourcing of part of the function. At the brief, we define what you do, what we do, and how we coordinate.

Who owns the ad accounts, the website, and the data?

You. Always. We work through your accounts (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads), with access rights granted to us. The website, domain, and hosting are in your name. All data lives in your analytics. If we end the partnership, everything stays with you and continues to operate.

What if we’re not satisfied with the results?

This is a fair question to discuss in advance, before signing the agreement. Our approach is built on delivering the best possible result — not on "holding the client at all costs."

What we do if results fall short of expectations:

  1. Deep audit of the situation.

We don't start with excuses. The first step is a full breakdown: what was planned in the strategy, what was actually executed, where the gaps are, and which external factors influenced things (seasonality changes, new competitors, Google or Meta algorithm updates, shifts in audience behavior). We name causes honestly — if the mistake is on our side, we say so directly.

  1. Strategy review.

Often the issue isn't in execution but in the assumptions the strategy was built on. We run a repeat strategy session with your team — revisiting ICP, channels, offer, creatives, funnel. Maybe the focus needs to shift to a different channel or audience segment.

  1. Bringing in additional experts.

We have narrow specialists for every direction. If, for example, the issue is in Meta campaigns, we bring in a senior Meta specialist who runs an independent audit and finds what the primary team missed. Sometimes a single "fresh pair of eyes" is enough to unlock the situation.

  1. A/B testing on key hypotheses.

Instead of "continuing to do the same thing," we test alternative approaches in parallel: different creatives, different audiences, different funnels, different messaging. We quickly cut what doesn't work and find what does.

  1. Budget reallocation.

If a channel consistently fails to deliver ROI, we don't "invest more in the hope it'll finally work." We honestly admit the channel doesn't fit your business right now and reallocate budget to directions that are showing momentum.

  1. Coordination with your sales and operations.

In 30–40% of cases, the issue with results isn't in marketing — it's in the post-lead stages: speed of inquiry handling, sales scripts, delivery, the product itself. We see this through CRM analytics and discuss it openly with you. Not as an excuse, but as a shared task — because without an aligned chain of marketing + sales + service, systematic results aren't possible.

  1. If after all of the above the results still don't satisfy you.

You can end the partnership with 30 days' notice. No penalties, no rigid contractual restrictions. We hand over all accounts, documentation, and configurations — so you can continue with an in-house team or another agency without losses. This is our principled position: holding a client who isn't getting value is wrong.

In our experience, situations where a client remains fully unsatisfied after all the steps above are rare. In most cases, after a deep review and adjustments, we find the growth point within 1–2 months. But if not — we part ways honestly and without claims.

Can you work with international markets?

Yes. We run projects for clients in Tier 1 and Tier 2 GEOs, the US, and Asia. We account for local advertising specifics, GDPR, and cultural nuances. The team communicates in Ukrainian and English.

Do you open up the details of your processes to clients?

Yes. Unlike some agencies, we openly share the inner work: campaign structures in Ads Manager, the tools' reports we use, methodologies. If tomorrow you decide to move to in-house, you'll have a complete understanding of how it was done.

Do you take on competing businesses in the same niche?

No. Within a single business type and geography, we don't take on two direct competitors. This is our ethical position — conflicts of interest in strategy are impossible to avoid. For broad categories, we define boundaries individually and fix them in the contract.
